GLINTCAP Awards 2025

cider tasting flight at glintcap 2025

The Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP), is the world’s largest cider competition focused on raising the caliber of cider as a category through emphasis on providing clear and helpful feedback to entrants from some of the most experienced palates in the industry, in addition to coveted awards. Held annually in Grand Rapids, GLINTCAP receives and judges over 1,000 commercial and noncommercial entries from across the world. It is the largest cider and perry competition in the western hemisphere.

We have participated as a cidery under our Texas Corners Brewing Company brand periodically over the years, taking home several bronze and silver medals. This year both owner and Certified Cider Guide, Andrew Schultz, and our head wine & cidermaker, Shaun Brancheau, were part of the judging panels. The tasting rounds are blind and we are guaranteed to not judge any category which we submitted ciders, so as to prevent any bias. We’re thrilled to announce we took home four medals for the following ciders in 2025!

~Silver Medal in Fruit Cider - Dry - Strawberry

~Silver Medal in Tannin Forward Cider - Dry - Dabinett

~Bronze Medal in Modern Cider - Dry - Jonathan

~Bronze Medal in Ice Cider - Ice Cider
